Scodix Digital Press - Raised UV & Digital Foil

Raised UV is a specialty finishing (post-printing) process that highlights selected artwork with a raised, clear spot gloss - similar to traditional Spot Gloss UV combined with embossing. Digital Foil utilizes the same process as Raised UV, but simply adds a layer of foil over the UV coating to provide a similar effect to traditional foil stamping with embossing. Since this is a digital print process, no dies are needed & variable data is easily applied to create a more personalized product.

We offer a complete line of premium laminations for your custom printing projects. Choose from Gloss, Matte, Soft Touch, Scuff-Free Matte, & Smudge-Free Soft Touch Lamination to pair with your custom print project. Lamination is a thin layer of film that is adhered to the press sheet to create a seal over the top of your print, and provides an added layer of protection. Lamination pairs exceptionally well with other print embellishments such as Raised UV, Spot UV, Digital Foil, and Traditional Foil Stamping & Embossing. Digital Spot UV highlights selected elements in your print design with a clear gloss shine. Spot UV is a thin layer of coating that is adhered to the press sheet, and is usually paired with a lamination for added effect.
